HL Extension: Animal research, hormones and behaviour

As you teach each topic it will be important to embed opportunities to explicitly teach about: 

• The contribution of Research Methods used in the Biological Approach to understanding human behaviour: e.g. Lab experiments, (inc animal experiment as esp. HL), quasi experiments and natural experiments probably come into bio as well (people with brain trauma (accident, illness, injury etc), Case Studies, Correlaional studies (e.g. Baron Cohen and foetal testosterone exposure and autistic traits (systemising/empathisisng etc)
• Ethical Considerations in the investigation of the Biological Approach to understanding human behaviour
